Soccer
History
1300s
Soccer was actually a lot like rugby but it's not rugby. The players get anything that bounces and they carry it to a targeted area,but everyone got bored of the old rugby like rules so they started kicking it to a targeted area. The Knights would sometimes miss practice and watch the peasants play soccer, they kept on missing soccer practice that King Edward III banned soccer.
Modern History- 19th Century onwards.
The popular English School and Eton College made a set of rules for soccer. The history of modern day soccer was officially made on October 1863.
Eleven representatives from London Clubs and Schools met at the Freemason's Tavern to set up common fundamental rules to control the matches.
The foundation of soccer was established 1869, The Football Association strictly banned touching the ball with your hands. The sports popularity spread fast during the 1800s as British sailors and soldiers introduced the sport in different parts of the globe.
Late history- 20th - 21st Century
Italians and Germans went to Europe, while Argentina and Brazil played the sport in South America. FIFA was made in 1904 and by the early 1930s. Different teams were playing soccer in various countries. The first FIFA world cup was in Uruguay 13 July - 30 July 1930. Soccer now has it's popularity growing rapidly as it was over the last 3000 years.
